Profesional en Gobierno y Relaciones Internacionales con especialización en Derechos Humanos y Derecho Internacional Humanitario de la Universidad Externado de Colombia.
Diplomático de carrera en el rango de Primer Secretario, ingresó al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores en el año 2015.
Ha trabajado en la Dirección de Derechos Humanos y DIH como asesor del Grupo de Seguimiento a Órdenes y Recomendaciones de Órganos Internacionales de Derechos Humanos (2015-2018) y en la Dirección de Asuntos Migratorios, Consulares y Servicio al Ciudadano como asesor y posteriormente Coordinador de Asuntos Migratorios (2018-2020), apoyando entre otros temas en el seguimiento a la coyuntura migratoria venezolana, el proyecto de ley de política migratoria integral e iniciativas orientadas a la facilitación de trámites, al fortalecimiento de la oferta de servicios del ministerio y la promoción de estrategias de vinculación con la comunidad colombiana en el exterior.
En funciones en Kingston desde octubre de 2020.

A career diplomat at the rank of First Secretary, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015.
He has worked in the Directorate of Human Rights and IHL as an advisor to the Working Group for Monitoring Orders and Recommendations of International Human Rights Bodies (2015-2018) and in the Directorate of Migration Affairs, Consular and Citizen Services as an advisor and later Head of Migration Affairs (2018-2020), supporting, among other topics, the monitoring of the Venezuelan migration juncture, the comprehensive migration policy bill and initiatives aimed at facilitating and strengthening consular services and promoting linkage strategies with the Colombian community abroad.
