¿Reside en Islas Caimán y necesita algún trámite consular? Inscríbase en la próxima jornada de Consulado Móvil
Kingston, 6 de febrero de 2024. La Embajada de Colombia en Jamaica, a través de su Sección Consular, informa a los connacionales que requieran realizar trámites consulares, que esta oficina se encuentra preparando los detalles para el próximo Consulado Móvil en George Town durante el primer semestre de 2024 (fecha aún por convenir).
Para esto, las personas que necesiten renovar su pasaporte, hacer el registro civil de nacimiento colombiano de menores de edad, solicitar su cédula de ciudadanía (no cédula digital) por primera vez u obtener un duplicado de este documento, realizar reconocimientos de firma o recibir orientación general entre otros, deben escribir al correo electrónico [email protected] de manera que sean incluidas en la lista de espera y ser atendidas en esta próxima jornada consular.
Las personas inscritas recibirán por correo electrónico información adicional sobre requisitos, fecha y lugar donde serán atendidas. El seguimiento posterior al estado del trámite también se hará por ese medio.
Durante esta jornada, como ocurre desde 2022, solo se atenderá con cita previa que será asignada por esta oficina consular. Excepcionalmente se atenderán sin cita las personas que requieran pasaporte siempre que tengan a la mano todos los requisitos del trámite.
Es muy importante que la comunidad circule esta información de manera que muchas más personas puedan beneficiarse de estas visitas que lleva a cabo el consulado al menos dos (2) veces por año, y que, desde la reapertura postpandemia, han beneficiado a más de 130 connacionales que residen en Islas Caimán. Para que este consulado móvil sea exitoso y podamos visitar George Town es necesario tener un número suficiente de trámites.
Igualmente, hacemos nuevamente una invitación a todos los colombianos residentes en Islas Caimán a inscribirse en el Registro Consular, esta es una herramienta muy útil para nosotros pues nos permite contar con mejor información estadística sobre la comunidad colombiana en ese territorio facilitando no solo la planeación de estas jornadas consulares, sino también el envío de información sobre la oferta de trámites y servicios, anuncios importantes así como contacto en caso de contingencias o graves emergencias.

Do you reside in the Cayman Islands and need any consular services? Register for the next mobile consulate session
The Colombian Embassy in Kingston, through its Consular Section, informs Colombians requiring consular services that this office is preparing the details for the following mobile consulate in George Town during the first semester of 2024 (date yet to be confirmed).
For this, people who need to renew their passports, register their children as Colombians, request their national identification cards (cédula de ciudadanía) for the first time or obtain a duplicate of this document, carry out notarial procedures receive general guidance among other services, must write to the email [email protected] so their names can be included in the waiting list and be attended to on this next mobile consulate.
Registered people will receive by email additional information about requirements, date and place where they will be attended. Also, the follow-up will be done by this means.
During this mobile consulate, we will only attend by appointment that this consular office will assign. Exceptionally, people requiring a passport will be served without an appointment as long as they have all the requirements.
The community must circulate this information so that many more people can benefit from these visits. For this mobile consulate to be successful and for us to visit George Town, it is necessary to have a sufficient number of procedures.
Likewise, we once again invite all Colombians residing in the Cayman Islands to register in the Consular Registry; this is a handy tool for us as it allows us to have better statistical information about the Colombian community in that territory, facilitating not only the planning of these mobile consulates but also the sending of information about the offer of procedures and services, important announcements as well as contact in case of contingencies or serious emergencies.
